Of all the events which happen between now and December, the Holly Berry Fair still seems so far away, doesn’t it? We all know how quickly time passes so this is just a gentle reminder from your committee—a nudge perhaps- - to not forget those projects you’ve been thinking of; time to move them nearer the front burner or the top of your “to do” list. We appreciate your efforts and eagerly look forward to the many ways in which you participate. Quality crafts and specialty food items have built our reputation in town as the “must go to Fair”. Things you can do to contribute include contributing time, talent, and/or treasure, or all of these!
We’ll be looking for you.

The Holly Berry Fair will be held on Saturday December 1, 2007. In the meantime, there are a lot of preparations to be made. If you have some time and would like to pitch in while enjoying the fellowship of like minded cooks and crafters just take a look at the Holly Berry Fair Canning and Craft Workshops listed below.
Do you need a place to can? You now have a place to go! Do you want to preserve summer’s bounty but you don’t have the equipment or you feel that canning will make your house hot or that you need help! Well, these are no longer valid excuses. On behalf of the Holly Berry Fair, I have reserved the downstairs kitchen in the Parish House on the second Wednesday of the next three months from 9:00am until 3:00pm. This is open to everyone in the church. No reservations necessary. I have already placed a canner and canning equipment in the down stairs kitchen right by the stove to make your canning experience a no hassle event. I personally will be at the kitchen part of time during each of those days so you can ask questions and get any help if you need it. My hope is that you make some for yourself and then donate a few jars of your preserved goods to the Holly Berry Fair to stock our Christmas Cupboard.

We will be holding a series of Craft Workshops over the next 3 months. These workshops provide a way to get together and enjoy some fellowship while putting together some of the featured items that will be put up for sale at this year's Holly Berry Fair. If you have some time, we'd love to have you.
