There are currently 3 choirs which perform at various times during Sunday services:
- Junior Choir – our youngest choir is made up kids from grades 1 to 8. Working under the direction of our Minister of Music, this choir performs a couple times each month and has been known to bring along bells or percussion instruments to their lively performances. Practices are held most Sundays after church in the Parish House and they are always looking for new members.
- Chancel Choir – the “senior” choir, under the direction of the Minister of Music, encompasses performers from 9th grade on up. This choir performs all of the weekly service music including the extended music used during communion and enhances the service with a weekly anthem. Interested? Please join us for practice on Thursday night in the church sanctuary from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Sisters in Spirit – the most recent addition to our church’s musical repertoire, Sisters in Spirit brings together the women of our church. From 6th grade on up, the choir includes both members of the Chancel Choir and other members of the congregation who meet after church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month for practice. Performances then happen on select days 4-6 times per year.
