Who are they?
The Investment Committee consists of 4 church members, one of which is appointed annually by the Trustees, and 3 from the membership at large – one being elected annually.
What do they do?
- The Investment Committee invests all long-tern investments based on the revenue goals established by the Board of Trustees.
- The Investment Committee determines that income from all trust funds are used according to their respective terms or according to the direction of the congregation if a trust fund has no specific terms.
- The Investment Committee invests all undesignated gifts of $5000 or higher – for the purpose of producing income through interest.
- This committee meets at least twice a year with the Trustees to review the financial status of the church’s trust funds.
When do they meet?
The Investment Committee meets as necessary throughout the year.
